What is Passion?

Passion, ​a word describing the powerful emotions that inspire people to overcome their fears and laziness to master a challenge. While this compulsion to overcome fear may give some satisfaction from overcoming challenges, the comittment needed to pursue a passion requires sacrifice. ​In moden times, society generally uses the word passion to describe finidng a unique niche by discovering an activity that a person loves doing, or sometimes to describe the obsessive, fiery emotions a person might hold for another. However, the word passion comes from the Latin verb pati, meaning to suffer. 1.) â€‹â€‹Though the word passion generally has a positive connotation in today's society since it used in the case of doing one's favorite activity or describing one's love, don't forget that its roots also add the layer of suffering for what a person truly believes.
